If anyone has an interest in putting together a set please post here and the guild will see about producing you a class and spec specific Crafted PvP
set. Pieces are ilvl 476.

Edit
Forgot to mention, but make sure you post what spec you need.

Yes we have many skilled craftsgnomes in the guild, and I dont want an inability to acquire PvP gear to hold anyone back who truly wants to get into PvP with the guild.

That said, there is significant time and effort required to gather the mats necessary to craft these pieces of gear, and there are a number of pieces required to complete a set. Therefore I would like to see only people who are serious about participating regularly in guild PvP Nights asking for a set.

It is our intent to produce these sets at no cost to you if we can get enough Gnomes to volunteer their services. But before we can get busy crafting we need to know who needs gear!

Helayne and Trigonometry both can craft some of the gear.

While I was thinking about it I also wanted to make a quick post regarding the least stressful manner in which to accumulate PvP Gear. PvP is a lot of fun, but most people don't have the patience to spend several days straight grinding battlegrounds that have a low win %. What I recommend is a combination of the Isle of thunder PvP dailies and playing 2 random BG's. If you win its also a large portion of honor and combined that little bit of time each day adds up quick.

Aizi has a lot of the LWing patterns. Not all, but a lot. Hit me up if you need any Monks/Rogues/other. I also can do leg enchants if anyone fancies fancy legs. I don't have much mats on hand as they are needed for the research, but they're pretty easy to come by since I have a skinner. Just let me know! -Aizi/Frazzdat

I'll be in need of a Vicious Fireweave Belt for my transmog. That counts as Crafted PVP gear, right? XD

I have the mats in my bank already; hopefully I'll be home from work earlier than usual tonight. :P

I feel like this was already answered, but how does the entry-level pvp gear compare with the Timeless/SoO LFR gear? If we're already decently PvE-equipped would it be better to just grind battlegrounds in that gear until we're ready to buy the conquest point stuff?

Personal opinion from a healers perspective I prefer the crafted set because of the set bonus utility. Also No PvE weapon can really compete with the PvP weapon's PvP power. I've been told that the timeless isle gear is on par or perhaps even a little better than the crafted PvP gear, but I feel that only applies to pieces that have been upgraded with a burden.

Ok, the other day, I was really frustrated with Tridyna's PvP performance to the point were I was seriously starting to hate the toon for its ineffectiveness. However, I was able to get a combination of the old 458 gear and the newer crated gear and it's been a HUGE improvement.

I strongly recommend folks get at least two pieces of the crafted gear and the pvp emblem and medallion. The bonuses will bring you a lot closer to level ground with the more experienced PvPers.

Cool thing, none of the gear has to be the same ilevel to qualify for a set. 500 to 1000 PvP Power and 2000 additional Resilience is HUGE.

The mats are easy for the armor too. Just ghost iron and windwool. However, neither Helayne nor Trig have all the pvp patterns so you'll want to speak to other blacksmiths and tailors too.

The very nice medallion can be made by inscriptionists with 10 iron bars. 102483 Bonus 2600 resilience when you get an emblem! That's 600 more resilience than getting both honor pieces.

It's nice to hear what other people are experiencing. I've been hearing a lot how timeless is better than crafted PvP, but I really do feel that only applies in certain respects.

Poly can make the Crafted Malevolent Gladiator's Medallion of Tenacity, which as Dyna says, does take 10 ghost iron bars to make. It is a 476 trinket.

Let me know if you need one.
