These appear to be NPC versions of mecha mobs for testing purposes. Not sure how this compares to the list of total Mech Pets planned. I notice no wolves are on this list, but we know they are tameable.

Mech cats appear to be confirmed by this list! Thats good news! I hope they are scaled up Fluxfires! =))

It was also recently announced based on player feedback, that Marksman hunters are getting their pet back! So even MM can enjoy their P.E.T.S.

For those that don't want a pet, Lone Wolf will (as of the announcement) be a talent at level 15 that will scale to make DPS equal between MM hunters with or without a pet.

I've updated the post with all the latest information on the tamable pets from the Alpha! I've also removed all mention of Pet Buffs as those are going the way of the dodo when Legion releases.

i always thought that a snow fox would be a great pet for gnome hunters, before mechanical pets were announced i suggested them as the starting pet for gnomes

There ARE some Fox mobs which are trainable. Even a white or slightly blue-ish one if memory serves, so you can totally do that when you get your Hunter!

I've also removed all mention of Pet Buffs as those are going the way of the dodo when Legion releases.

Well there goes my idea for making up for our lack of Pally & Druid buffs with Personal Electronic Tactical Sidekicks.

While there is a rare spawn white fox in Elwynn Forest, the easiest way to get one on a low-level hunter is to actually hitch a ride to the ruins of Gilneas, where they are abundant and in the low teens level-wise. Note, however, that there is no totally white fox; the skin called "white" in the game files is more an icy-blue colour with a white underside.

Well, to be fair, that's because the class buffs are also going away. Not only are we getting another class, we're no longer being punished for our lack of certain classes as well.

Well thats a fine How-Do-Ya-Do. Takes us 12 years to get a class that can give us missing buffs, and then they get rid of the buffs. *Hands-on-hips scowly face* >_<

I have updated the thread with new BfA models! Some are or could be hunter pets, some may be vanity pets, and some non hunter models of gnomish interest.

Data is still coming out and I will update further if anything new comes out!

My gnomish hunter on another server has Lightning Paw as a pet - sparky fox that she named "Glitch".
