Hehe, no Copper, we are just very in tune with each other and work wonderfully well together. He'll say what I'm thinking or me him. <3

I can see how you could think it though. Just remember he's the "meaner" of the two us. :P

"Greetings to you all, fellow Gnomes! I am Dr.Steel, a doctor of science and engineering, not of the medical genre. I'm a bit of a mad scientist if you will. I'm an inventor and engineer of fabulous toys... toys I've created purely for fun and enjoyment for all. However, I'm still in the process of improving my creativity and toy-designing genius, which is why you will usually find me working on advancing my engineering skills. Perhaps one day... I will be able to create a giant toy robot! Yes, that would be an amazing feat; One I look forward too with utmost admiration! Not just for me, but for all Gnomes! MU HAHAHA! *cough* Anyways, It is truly nice to meet you all and be able to share my bit of mad genius with each of you. Now, who wants some of my ingeniously engineered toys? Hm?"

*OOC*

Hello to you all! Behind the crazy but friendly Dr.Steel is me, a 34 year old woman that has been playing WoW for a little over 4 years now. I've always been a huge fan of Gnomes, and got really excited when I saw this guild reach it's level 25 Achievement not too long ago. :) Truly wonderful!
I have played Alliance and Horde and found my home in both. I have many 85s, as I'm quite the Altaholic. But Gnomes have always been my first love.

I'm not really a Role Player, but I have tried in the past. Perhaps with you all I can practice and improve! :) Meanwhile getting to know you all, little over time. I am a shy person in real life, afraid to look people in the eye when speaking to them, and trouble talking on Ventrillo, however, I'm always looking to improve and learn to open up more.

I live in the U.S, and I hope you all don't mind if I refrain from giving out my real name or location. :)

*edit: Oh, let me also add, that I'm a true gamer at heart. I love PC games and console games. *hugs 360 and Wii consoles* I love skateboarding, and rock music. And of course, Mad Scientist movies! :)

Once again, nice to meet you all!

Tektek rides into the thread, her mechanostrider sputtering to a halt. She dismounts and lifts the goggles from her eyes, resting them on her head. Her green eyes shine sharp and bright and she salutes her new comrades.

Tektek Blastcog reporting for duty. I am a technomage for Gnomeregan and am offering my services for the good of G4. One day the people of Azeroth will realize how truly potent the combination of metal, magic and Gnomish power really is!

--

Hi all :) I'm really glad to be a member of G4 and I'm enjoying all my time with you guys. The guild is really nice and genuinely helpful. I suppose a few tidbits about me is that I've been playing WoW since right before BC came out. My very first character was a human warlock who was put on the backburner to show some love to my first main, a Night Elf druid, that I played for a few years. Early Wrath brought about my priest. She started as a BE and has been a human, Draenei, and is now a wonderful Forsaken and I wouldn't change it. I've played every healer at cap in addition to have a dk, warrior and hunter. My newest project is my mage here and I'm having a lot of fun with it, though I think that's due in part to having such a great guild to be in. Believe it or not I have a lot of social anxiety IRL but communicating on forums like this and in-game are a little easier for me. And at least now I have 5-6 years under my belt of being used to talking in this format. I don't tend to get on Vent much, but I will occasionally if it's my own guild. Being an actual female has some drawbacks as some of you may imagine so I'll leave that comment as it stands. xD WoW is pretty much my MMO of choice though I've played EQ2 as a crafter/decorator and tried Rift. I like single player games and builders very much, in fact Caesar 3 is one of my all time FAVORITE games as is Zelda.

I'm an avid reader and love to take photographs. I'm a vegetarian and I love to bake and watch machinima. Role playing is a fun time for me and I love to run old content and farm rep to build my collection of recipes, mounts and pets. I also really enjoy helping new players or people who have questions on just about anything in game, and my specialty with classes are resto druids and holy/disc priests since I have so much time invested in playing those. If anyone needs help just poke me and I'll do what I can! *nod*

My gnome's RP character is still being fleshed out and I haven't had much opportunity to really work on it yet, but if anyone wants to RP let me know! If you see me around feel free to just walk up and start. So far I've worked that she's a somewhat serious gnome, though she's plagued by lack of being taken seriously by some of the taller races.. an seemingly unfortunate problem for her peers as well. She has a permanent look of determination on her face and usually smells of smoke. Her spiked hair is actually cut that way because she's set her hair on fire one too many times, and it's ends are permanently singed.

Well that was way more wordy than I though it'd be! So I'll end my post now and join Forbs in her mantra and say.. FOR GNOMEREGAN!

Hi! I'm Eloramae Spanglefrye. I'm new to Gnomeregan Forever but I've done a lot of traveling around Azeroth. You may know my cousin Tiffyn. I was with her when I saw the Sin'dorei for the first time. I think they are just the most beautiful creatures I've ever seen! They are so fashionable and they have the most amazing features! I wish I could look just like them! So I spend my time trying to do just that. I am learning all about their culture and history and hope someday that I can be a Gnomish Ambassador to Silvermoon City or possibly work with the Scryers in their wonderful library.

OOC:
I've been playing WoW off and on for a few years casually. I love to rp and am working on learning how to get better at it. Out of the game, I spend a lot of time writing, mostly fan fiction. I also enjoy English equestrianism, art, anime and manga. I am a major otaku (and chocolate cookies to anyone who knows what it means if I say I'm actually a dukhoo). I like cosplay, Korean soaps and kpop.

Nice to meet you! :)

Annyeong! Tektek wins the cookies!

I've heard about We Got Married but I've never been able to find it so I would love a link. I'm a BBC and a B2auty. Currently watching Secret Garden. My favorite is Coffee Prince.

Forbidra: An Otaku is someone obsessed with Japanese anime and manga (and culture really) and a dukhoo is the Korean version of that.

HWAITING!!

Usually nonfiction. I read a lot of general cultural type books, and I'll devour anything religion based. I love learning how other places around the world function and where people come from :) I do dabble in a tiny bit of sci-fi and whatever else my boyfriend brings home that seems to be of interest. Unfortunately he's heavy into polisci and law, both of which I (playfully) roll my eyes at *snicker*

I enjoy a variety of books, really depends on my mood. For every one book I read I add like 5+ to my tbr. Really want to read Reading Lolita in Tehran but it has yet to come my way.

(OOC) Well let’s see. I've been playing WoW since BC launch with my Wife Pandypants who is also in G4. We ran a guild on Darrowmere which later transferred to Alterac Mountains called Ardent Souls. After several years of running the guild the focus shifted from casual to pretty heavy raiding and burnout was not far behind that. The guild still exists but we handed over the reins and ultimately ended up leaving it all together. I enjoy BGs, Arena, and raiding as long as it’s fun and not nerd raging maniacs!! It's great to be back in a guild where the game is fun to play again and not all about DPS/Healing numbers. Neither of us have any RP experience so may take some time as we learn the ropes.

We have three little boys, all gamers and great kids. Outside of WoW I like all genres of games on the PC, Wii, 360, etc. while Pandy tends to stick with the RP type games (Skyrim, entire Diablo series, FF, Zelda, you get the idea). We are both pretty big into being outdoors so when we are not gaming you can bet we are camping/hiking/fly fishing, or enjoying our kids play their sports of choice.

This us on the way to our third Blizzcon, I'm on the left lol.

Thanks for having us!

(ooc) Hi! Ingame I'm Elottie, the somewhat crazy scientist of shadow magic. (shadow priest!), Irl, I'm a 27 year old guy named Nathan, I live in the middle of the boring state of Misery (IE, Missouri). I'm studying Graphic Design and Photography at the University of Central Missouri, and my hobbies include videogames, photography , watching Food Network or Cartoon Network, and participating in way too many nerdy side-hobbies. (like anime, board games, world of darkness Chat RP, etc)

as for my wow chops, I've been playing off and on since Vanilla, though my first max level character was a Draenei shaman and Blood Elf Paladin. I'm a former raider, though I burned out when the guild I was in went from a fun loving sort of guild to a more srs raiding guild, anf given I also love casual rp and casual game fun, I decided G4 was a better fit for me.

IC: Greetings fellow gnomes! My name is Elottie Gearsmoke, previous to my entrapment and near leper-ization in the dank depths of our beloved Gnomeregan, I was attending classes in the fine art of experimental medicine and combat medic techniques. Thankfully, due to the skills I knew, I was able to stave off my leper-ization until rescue could be affected, and I have since resumed my studies, mainly switching over to experiments in the difference between normal medical techniques, and to the healing byproducts of techniques pioneered by what other races refer to as " The Forgotten Shadow"

To this end, I hope to be able to share my scientific findings on the subject and increase gnomish knowledge and power by my findings!

It'sssssss Hilipert! or is it Iketro now? oohh, the world may never know! =) Cruszing the fourms, and I see its been 22 days since anyone posted in the intro thread. Guess I'll step up and start one!

Hi! I've been an avid, if not a casuall gamer since the early '00s. Started with a few unknowns, then upgraded to WoW about mid-'05. Played on numberous servers, then stoped playing a few months before the release of Wrath. It was more of a forced stop, I guess you could say. My old account was hacked a few times, then banded, then pera-banded.. then I lost my job about the same time. Did some free-to-play mmos since that time, but nothing seemed to compare to WoW.. :)

Alittle about me now. I'm 30, living at home still (I know, poor me..) Born and raised in California, then moved to Arizona about 10 years ago. it'll be 10 years this Augest, come to think of it. Ummm.. guess that's it. Isn't much to say about me. I haved pictures of myself, but don't wanna post on here. I do have Facebook ttho, you can always ask me for it.

Sorry for the many typos here, I am using a laptop that I'm not used to, and missing some keys.. ha. I look forward to meeting you all, and getting to know ya all in-game. I'm going by the name of Iketro, a gnome mage. Eventually when Mists comes out, I may switch to a Monk to try it out. Probably not right away. Shall see how it goes.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm the random new person, and I thought I should introduce myself here, since in game, things seem to be a little confused. I had transferred over a warlock (more about character history) last night, and after a long discussion with Forbidra, I was recruited into G4. However, Blizzard seems to think I didn't really want to do a realm/faction transfer at this time, so they're reversing it, except the character hasn't moved but is unable to be logged into. In the mean time, I've been in the OOC channel with a rogue named Telisyn.

So a bit about me. Currently I work evenings, and have been for quite some time now, at a community college, specifically prepping the science (anatomy and physiology) labs. I've been slowly working on a BS in biochemistry (after a multitude of degree changes) and have an avid interest in forensics. My one passion in life is music, which I feel I had to let go as it was becoming far too consuming for me to focus on entirely. So now I try to play casually, at least I was when I had more time. I have two children, a 4 year old girl and a 3 month old boy. The son is currently having eye issues, he was born with cataracts and so a lot of my time recently has been doing trips to the hospital for surgeries.

I was a very prolific reader growing up and an on-off gamer. My favorite game of all time is still FF6. I've stayed away mainly from online games, although I have friends who have allowed me to trial different games like FFXI, Everquest, etc during visits. I started playing D&D in the mid90s and have been ever since. I tend to gravitate towards casters, and in the beginning I was a strictly elf gamer. Over the years, though, one of my good friends kept nudging me towards little races, and I finally made the switch around the taru-taru/gnome induction.

My first character was a gnome mage, named Myrkvarinn. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but by the time I hit 50, my friends had all switched to horde on a pvp server, so I remade a warlock. I quit the game for a little bit, at level 50 again, but got convinced back, this time with another new warlock on horde side. Eventually I back to the gnome, leveled it up to 60, and joined a hard core raiding guild. I managed to get halfway through Naxx befeore I moved to be with my future wife and got an evening job. Some of my fondest memories and friendships were created with that character in that guild, although sadly the vast majority have long since quit. My wife, actually, was a gnome mage when we first met. So because of all that, I've always had the warmest feelings towards gnomes, even while playing horde. Since the start of BC, though, I've done a lot of server hopping and toon switching. Since by BC was hitting, I was working every night in the evening, I didn't really find a good active group until near the end of Wrath. By then I was drawn to Khaz Modan (family there). While there, I joined a few raiding guilds before finally joining with my wife in a guild that I became most active with (writing guilds, leading raids, moving making). The last few months have proved a painful death of that guild (too many people popping out babies), and after not being able to field a raid for a month in a row, I took a break. I managed to finish off Dragons Age I and II and read through book 4 of the Song of Ice and Fire before coming back to WoW.

I've mainly focused on the PvE aspect of the game, and while I view myself as a competitive player, I just don't have the time to do that aspect very deeply. So instead, I'm trying to branch out and bring in other interests that I enjoy doing. I do dabble in some PvP, although it has long since passed me by from the days of no one knowing what to do. I haven't done much roleplaying in WoW, which I find is a gross oversight, but I have tried to keep my imagination nurtured. I used to write some character stories, and I am still drawn to character concept and history creation.

Despite being horrible with grammar and spelling, I enjoy writing. In my other guild, I managed to squeak out 100 posts just in guides in a short amount of time. You could say, I'm similar to the guy who likes to hear his own voice, but in writing. One of the things that really struck me about the history of the gnomes is their always present willingness to help others. In a very large way, I feel I can best relate to that outlook in life.

Anyway, if you're still reading at this point, I am glad of the opportunity to join such a great sounding family. I really hope I can contribute in my own small little way (feel free to ask about anything you may have a question about!). If you care to visit, www.youtube.com/myrkvarinn, I have videos there of my previous raid experiences, and some pvp, including a 70 twink gnome priest video!

We have lots of new people again that need to post here so we can get to know them!

And what's the deal with nobody posting any pictures lately?? I need a face to go with that typing in the corner of my screen as well as that gnome standing beside me! Get to work people!

I shall bribe you with puppy photos! (well...they are almost full grown now but they are still the cutest puppies in the multiverse!):

Hi everyone!

IRL, I am 24, a freelance graphic designer and writer, and a barista/server at an independent cafe. I'm hoping to go back to school soon to finish my degree in graphic design at Tyler School of Art @ Temple in Philadelphia, PA. I currently live about an hour and a half north of Philadelphia, though I'm from California and I hate all things snow and cold with a passion.

Anyway, I've been playing WoW since 2005. My first character was actually a gnome warlock, but I ended up abandoning her and playing Horde for most of my WoW days (oops!) -- I've mained an undead mage, blood elf priest and paladin, and tauren druid. I still consider the druid my main, but I've been devoting as much time as possible to my little gnome warlock Blitzie Boomfizz. I like RP, 5-mans, and raiding. I'm excited to get to know everyone -- if you ever need help with anything or even just want a friend to chat with, /w me! :)

Here's a picture of me:

Hi Everyone,

Let's see, where to start... Well, here goes. IRL I am 29 years old, I am currently employed as a forensic auditor for a large corporation in Ontario, Canada. That's right, I'm Canadian, born and raised in the Toronto area. I enjoy all things music, I write and play many instruments and have a huge music collection. My initial plan all through school was to be a music history teacher but that went sideways when life ( and a sweet government job offer ) got in the way. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, fishing, adding to my tattoo collection ( my arms, chest and back are almost done... all covered by a suit and tie during the day! ) and restoring old cars.

I have been playing WoW since vanilla and I would describe my level of gameplay as well rounded. I love to raid and RP but I also PvP and hit up BGs on occasion. I felt that this realm and especially this guild was a great fit upon returning from a hiatus of sorts ( Raynshyne sent me a scroll via email ).

My main is Eldrog Firesprocket ( he was my very first toon ), an eccentric, burnt out mage with a knack for pulling aggro, finding the nearest pub in town and always looking out for his guild mates. I also play Gordle Wobblesprocket, he is Eldrog's older brother, a priest with his nose in the books almost all the time and raiding when he's not studying. Lastly my Rogue, Geldof Coggsmirth, a young, wildly excitable rogue with an addiction for tinkering and sneaking around. I will post more about these guys later on, for now it's back to me...

My hopes are to contribute as much as I can to the guild in whatever way I can. You may notice that my times in realm are scattered. I may go a few days between appearances and go for weeks straight always online. This is a perk of my job as my hours are my own and it has a high burnout rate so, I use WoW as an escape from RL when I can.

Anyways, feel free to chat with me or /w me IC or OCC whenever you would like, I look forward to meeting you all and will post what pics I can soon.
