Hello, everyone!

My name is Ilana, and my character is Linzie. I just joined yesterday so I thought I'd introduce myself!

I've been playing WoW on and off since launch, mostly on. Up until about a year ago I was horde all the way, but then I decided to try something new. After some indecision lately, I've decided to go with a fire mage for my main, since that's a class that 1. I am very comfortable playing and 2. nobody will ask me to tank. I was a holy priest for a very long time back in my horde days, but I haven't done any priesting since Wrath and it's changed so much that I'd have to learn it all over again.

In the real world, I'm 33 and I live in Oregon, and I love it here. I'm a native and I don't plan to live anywhere else! I work in fraud prevention for a major bank (it's not as exciting as it sounds), but I consider theatre to be my career, even if I never get paid for it. I act and direct, and I've started poking around at a little bit of writing. I'm currently in rehearsals for The Curious Savage, which is why I won't be around much during the week for the next couple months.

I am a huge nerd and a big fan of Doctor Who. I even went as the Tenth Doctor for Halloween last year!

Hey all! I'm bad at this kind of thing, but here goes:

I'm a 22-year old game designer from Canada (yes, we ride polar bears). I've lived most of my life in a small town. I'm currently unemployed, but hope to get a job soon! My other interests include literature, history, psychology, phyloshy, science and the occult. Branching from that, I'm a big fan of fantasy and science-fiction in general. I have some background in art and I love to write in my free time as well.

On the WoW side of things, I do pretty much everything, from raiding to RP to PvP. I just like doing things with people, and accomplishing stuff and having fun. I think you can do great things with the right people. That's part of the reason I wanted to join this guild. I feel as though my main's server, Sentinels, is dead in more than one way, and I want to spend my WoW time having fun rather than worry about how to keep a dying guild/server alive. While I'll still put some priority on that server, I really want to try and find what's most fun for me.

I'm also friends with Trigonometry, whom I met through my webcomic Lo'meath & Huilii.

For the most part, I'm easy going and creative when it comes to just about anything. I have a sarcastic and pun-filled sense of humour, so watch out.

Oh, and my main's guild is here. I'm the raid leader and main tank on my main, Moeru. I'm also in charge of the website there (did the banner graphic, the background/theme is a default one).
We are inherently unworthy, simply because we're human, and all human beings--aye, and elves, and dwarves, and all the other races--are flawed. But the Light loves us anyway. - Uther

Let's See where to begin.

Hello all My real life name is Will! Pleasure to meet some of you so far and look forward to seeing those I haven't in the future! Starting this December I will be a full time student going towards becoming a licensed and state board certified Optician. (someone who creates and deals with glasses and contacts).

Been an avid wow player since the days of vanilla and started my monk on this server recently. Was delighted and overjoyed to find an all gnome guild on Wyrmrest and well the rest is history. I'll get a new pic out here soon when I can get infront of the camera. Anyhow just wanted to pop in and say hello. ^_^

Well, think it's a good time to reintroduce myself with me coming back and all since some probably have forgotten me by now. Though others still remember me (even random notes, such as that one time I faked boss aggro with MRP in Tempest Keep; fun times), I love all of you just the same. Even those I have never met before, because hey, we're G4, we're family.

Some may remember me from a year ago as the lovably annoying and somewhat crazy gnomish mage, Jendal (NOT Jandel, that's someone else entirely with a similar name). Need a picture of her? She's up on the banner at the top of the page in the brown cute pigtail hair. Also she held the original Thunderfury which gave G4 as a whole the guild version of that achievement.

Now enough about my old frocane mage and onto the current me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been away for a bit to sort my life out, get things in check and back in gear so to speak. It's been a crazy year for me and right now it's starting to level back off which made it a good time to return to World of Warcraft and to rejoin the greatest guild (for gnomes) in this game while enjoying brand new content! Hooray pandas!

In real life I'm a 25 year old and go by the name Amber. I have been working at my local community center at their front desk as well at their newly opened thrift store which they operate three days a week and hopefully, if everything goes well, I'll also be running a monthly gaming group for them.

And to just put it out there since other people are doing it to, here's a picture of myself.

There's a slight resemblance with my current monk, Brinni; keyword "slight". Totally unintentional.

Likely not going to be doing much other than leveling up to 90 and trying out the new content for now, so you might not see me around much other than in guild chat until then.

Hello everyone,

I'm Skritchie. I've been playing WoW off and on since launch, and have bounced from RP server to RP server.

In my everyday life I am a performer, and do anything from educational shows to Murder mysteries. My schedule is usually erratic, but I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Ooh...murder mysteries! I've often thought about an RP event that requires a team of Gnomish detectives to solve! Think a three foot tall Scooby Do =)

Now this is what I get for missing staff meetings! Wow...okay, I suppose I should just jump right in with both feet then, eh?

Gizzywig is the very first gnome character I ever had that advanced past level 25.

She's also the first priest I advanced past level 5.

She's also the first character I've ever leveled to max!

Okay, so I'm a bit of an altaholic, but I'm getting better. As for priests? I don't know, I just could never really get into playing a priest, or a gnome, but when they let gnomes be priests, I had to try.

Shadow, of course.

I've been playing WoW since Vanilla, just before BC was released. I had (and still have) a night elf hunter named Jesena. She's on the Farstriders realm - I'll have to bring her over here one of these days. Maybe I'll race-change her if Blizzard ever decides that gnomes gotta eat too and give us hunters (since, you know, EVERY OTHER RACE HAS THEM!!!!!...huff...puff) but I may just keep her as-is for posterity's sake.

I've played RPGs since the early 80s (yeah, I'm old...got gray hair and everything) and was even involved in the production of one called Omnigon - a sci-fi RPG that unfortunately never developed past a local release in Chicago. I was a bit of an addict, actually. AD&D, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, Twilight 2000, Vampire: The Masquerade, Macho Women With Guns (don't ask), Star Trek the RPG, Marvel Super Heroes RPG, Villains and Vigilantes, Omnigon which I was in the production crew of, and one that I was working on myself called Force/Counter-Force.

Then, when I thought it was all behind me, I decided to give the 10-day free trial a go. Uh-oh...it started again. Now I found myself playing WoW, Everquest, Perfect World, City of Heroes, Pirates of the Caribbean Online, LotR Online (I was in Beta for this one! YEAH!!!), Pirates of the Burning Seas, Champions Online...yeah, it bit me again, didn't it?

So, a few years later, I had whittled them down to my favorites. WoW, Everquest (I rarely play that anymore but it's there on my computer...hey, I have a nice house! Don't want to just delete it, you know? Now if Blizzard would give us player housing...but nooooooo...), and Champions Online which I just recently reinstalled because I miss my superheroes.

So who am I? I mean, aside from an RPG junkie and the player behind Gizzywig and Jeribeth?

My name's David Watson. I'm an artist, musician, sailor, private pilot, vegetarian-wannabe, Pagan, poet, author-type person. Pleased to meetcha!

Hello my fellow gnomes, I'm Rhali. Hopefully this is the rightplace to post my intro. My name is Jason and I've played wow since just when bc came out. Before hat I played a lot of DnD almost always as the GM. I do tend to do wacky stuff in game , I. Played a moonkin tank back when it was possible. Um... I'm a pretty laid back guy. This character will be my first foray into real roleplay. Usually I play on non rp servers, though, and I know its because they killed my 1st character a tauren, I HATE centaurs on all my characters even ones that don't make sense. Anyway, I hope to get to meet you all in game.

Hello everyone, I figured I would take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I am Xiorin, also known as Michele in real life. I am a college student working towards a bachelor's of science degree in Information Systems and Cyber security. I love technology in real life as does my gnome, though she is more into the explosions.

This is my first experience role playing, however I have played WoW since the beginning of BC. It is a learning process for me but so far I have had fun trying to develop my character.
The more explosions, the better!

Hi! My real name is Debra and I just joined your wonderful guild this month. I've been on an RP guild, Sisters of Elune, but the guild I'm in there doesn't do any RPing. I saw your post on the Blizz forum and thought it sounded like lots of fun. I've never really RP'd before and so I tend to be quiet so I can learn from you guys. (Don't think I'm stuck up because I don't talk much. That and I keep having OOC chat difficulties on my alt. Whisper me if I don't answer it may be the chat UI not me.)
I'm probably the oldest gamer you have onboard at 60. I've been playing video games since 1987 when we bought my son a Nintendo for Christmas. He got the Legend of Zelda among others and I was hooked. We played as a family and I still have the maps we drew by hand with our hint notes. This was before the day of the strategy guide or even the Internet WT's. You had to call Redmond, WA and talk with someone to "help me find the old lady with the ring". LOL I was always the one who had to call.
For years I played just adventure games until Baldur's Gate came out and I was talked into playing it by some of my Gameboomer friends (A forum for older gamers 6000+ strong and a great group of people). I was hooked from then on.
I have been playing WoW for about 4 years, but I haven't done much dungeoning. The wonderful guild I belonged to on Ghostlands disbanded due to divorces, school, etc. We used to do dungeons every Tuesday and it was a lot of fun, but dungeoning with PUG's can be a bad experience. Some people take this game way too seriously. So I just haven't been doing much anymore, but I hope to be able to do more on G4.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your introductions and I hope to get to know you better in future. What a talented, witty group of people you have here.
One of the most powerful ideas in Lord of the Rings was how its hero defied expectations of scale; even though Frodo was small and unassuming compared to his flashier, taller companions, those qualities didn’t disqualify him from being a hero – they made him the hero. He inspired us because he never needed to pretend to be any bigger than he was.
The same could be said of Gnomes.

You might be very surprised to know how many ahem...slightly older gamers there are on WrA and in G4 in particular. I select for maturity. =)

I'm mature. I just don't act it. :)

You should set aside some time to peruse the RP forum. Siosil has many helpful rp posts and links in there, plus some of us have posted backstories for our gnomes.

Love your videos, Brixee. I saw the one on Youtube that had what looked like an old time movie at the end. You're very talented.
It's good to know there are more "mature" players like myself here. At least when I have a senior moment, I won't have it alone. :)
I have been reading lots of the RP posts and thinking of the story for Trixie. I searched the net about Gnomish lore too to see if I could pick up even more. I have never been so involved with my characters before. It certainly adds a whole new dimension to the game.

Hello all! Rixiegh Tinkermyst in game, more commonly known as Michelle IRL. I'm 24 years old and live up in Quebec, Canada. Yeah, it's pretty cold up here lately. I'm currently studying to become an Animal Health Technician in veterinary clinics, in my first year out of three. I have two cats and a boyfriend, and the four of us share a wee apartment full of video game paraphernalia and other such nerdiness. I'm a big fan of Doctor Who, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and all the Lord of the Rings stuff (I'm currently rereading The Hobbit for the fifth time so I can try to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy...again).

What else...oh, I'm an avid knitter, and I also frequently draw WoW fanart so you might see some of my work now and again. :D My deviantart is http://taerilyncobb.deviantart.com/ if you happen to be particularly bored and want to look.

That's all I can think of for now but I'm sure that's plenty!
Here's me wearing a hat I knit a few weeks ago:
