Hello! My name is Dave, and I am the adorable little face-smashing DK tank named Caxixi (pronounce "ka-shee-shee")! I've not really RP'd since my high school days of Middle Earth Roleplaying tabletop, but I am, as Forbs put it, "RP curious." :)

In RL, I am a professor of music and a composer and drummer. I'm excited to experience life in an all-gnome guild and am happy to be on board here!

Glad your here, Pip and I love your Jackalope!
One of the most powerful ideas in Lord of the Rings was how its hero defied expectations of scale; even though Frodo was small and unassuming compared to his flashier, taller companions, those qualities didn’t disqualify him from being a hero – they made him the hero. He inspired us because he never needed to pretend to be any bigger than he was.
The same could be said of Gnomes.

Wow! This is totally subjective but I can't help but note that this guild has more creative artists, more highly intelligent and educated players than any other guild I've been a part of.

No joke.

This causes me to wonder. Do gnomes just draw that kind of person?

Did anyone else feel the sting in your left arm upon being accepted into the guild by Forbs? I think that's called the creative bug. ;)

Sooo, guess who forgot to introduce herself?

Ryssa Sprightgear here, otherwise known as Parker! I'm 24, recently graduated college, and I work at a university! I've been roleplaying on and off for about ten years now; started off in AOL chat rooms, then a brief stint over on Dreamwidth, and here I am now on WoW!

As for Ryssa, she's 40 years old, and she's done remarkably well despite being trapped in an irradiated Gnomeregan for several years where she was forced to fight and kill her friends and loved ones who had turned into lepers. But gnomes are just comic relief, amirite?

Since going topside, she's been exploring the world and dabbling in archaeology. She's still an amateur though! And she's also pretty handy with a sword, if I do say so myself. ;)

Anyway, I'm super excited to be here! It's been an absolute blast.

That wasnt a bug. You were simply struck by the Possibilities! Because the word 'Impossible' does not exist in the Gnomish language.

You and I are on the same wave length. Dyna's (Tridyna) back story is very similar.

Hello!

I am Iphia to most of you though I am also Seregwen (A) and Evallei, Eadwig and Sashizon (H) to others.

I have been playing WoW for many many moons, since right before the Black Temple patch of BC. My first character was a night elf druid Araahaiel who I took a year to get to 70. WoW was my first MMO, and you can blame my room mate for every playing. She was on a night elf warrior running around Zangermarsh for dailies and it fascinated me to the point I had to eventually buy it to look at the shinies. I was so fascinated by Teldrassil, spent at least a couple days wandering (dying and falling off it) before someone told me about Deadmines and I had to venture to Westfall (also large and frightening).

Overall I have grown a lot as a player since I started, and enjoy now a myriad of MMO's when I am feeling frisky and my eyes stray from WoW.

I played on a PvE server for about 2 years, while playing Horde on Moon Guard for RP. I helped run a raiding guild in WoTLK and we progressive raided up to ToC. After that due to the fun of raid drama and burn out I decided to look for an RP home for my Alliance toons and joined some friends on Twisting Nether. I was in an RPPVP guild for 2-3 years, acted as an officer for part of that and co-gm when the GM was burnt out.

I then took a break from WoW to play Rift, came back for a bit, then went SWTOR. When SWTOR smashed my hopes and dreams I returned to WoW. Most people I knew had quit or moved off Twisting Nether as the server is pretty dead RP wise. I played Alliance on Moon Guard as well as Horde for a bit, but the ERP and quality of RP I was finding was making me sad so I came over to WRA to poke about as I had heard good things.

And then I stayed. I played mostly Horde for my stay here until MoP and then moved my 90 Paladin over here and then made some alts Alliance side, so my roster is pretty split atm (can we say less character limits per server Blizz? :<). I've known about you guys for a while, as in Scythe of Sylvanas when we saw you featured in WoWinsider our GM was very excited as were we as we know how being a race specific guild, specially a less popular race, can be challenging in many ways. Not only technically when trying to raid etc, but also in terms of recruiting.

Then I was on the forums, saw how cool you guys are with your lore knowledge and in general super awesome friendly and decided to reroll my gnome character over here and try you guys out! :)

Outside of WoW I'm 24 (turning 25 in 7 days), I work as a free lance illustrator when I can find work and have had my art published in some indie tabletop games. I enjoy reading and writing and spend far too much time on tumblr or imgur laughing at cat pictures. I work in technical support in a call center for a cell phone carrier, and have had jobs in TV, food and home remodeling. I used to do a dance style called Para Para and tour anime conventions and meet cool voice actors, and love anime, manga, anything with animation/comics really :x

Soooooooo yay long post :D Here is a picture of me...

Me and friend at a photo shoot looking all srs face, I also have the big red flower in my hair.

Me less serious. And yes that is a MAd-Eye Moody eyepatch >_>

Awesome! Love the Mad Eye Moody Patch! And of course kitty pics are always popular! =)

Alas I have nothing with which to take pics atm. The only camera I own is my trusty old 35mm SLR which has a broken shutter spring that I cant get fixed easily.

Welcome to G4!

Maybe it's time I posted in here as well.

Hi, I'm Talfyr, the gnome monk. So far, no other alts on WRA, but I've got a small collection of gnomes sitting on moon guard at the moment. I heard about G4 from Poly at a table gaming gathering and the thought of an all gnome guild drove me to, well, make a gnew gnome! :D

I've been playing WoW off and on since release, and my first NE Druid is still sitting at 60 over on Cenarian Circle. I've been around a couple of servers and I keep coming back to the PR servers for the generally better class of people. Before wow, I started in MMO's with Asheron's call, spent some time in Dark Age of Camelot and then was playing FFXI for the North American release until wow came out. That's what got me started on gnomes I believe, I played a TaruTaru in FFXI.

My play time can be kind of random because I work in IT so have random late nights at work depending on what broke or who has a crisis during the day. But I'm all for any sort of group activities dungeon, raid, or achivement hunting (probably more so as I get my new gnome bigger). Though I admit I'm not huge into RP I'll jump in every now and then. I'm also not big on PvP at this point, I spent a year during vanilla raiding on a PvP Server, talk about a crazy way to raid, huge battles would break out infront of raid entrances.

Besides WoW, I'm into a little bit of all things general geekery, build my own gaming PC, have another one in parts that's almost ready to go together. Will pretty much buy any Zelda game (and console to support it, thanks nintendo). Other hobbies have included kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, and motorcycle riding.

And here are a couple of obligatory photos. ;) Back before I cut my hair.

someone was foolish enough to let me drive the boat.

I'm the one in the right in red.

Wassup?

Apologize for pic quality - I have a potato for a webcam.

Josh, 30 years old. I play Crittina Toggleswitch (Crittie, rogue), Jinnilyn Sparkweld (Jinnilyn, mage), and Trixipin Voidwrench (Voidwrench, warlock). Off-server I also have a Tauren hunter and a Human paladin, which I hope to eventually get transferred over here to WRA so as to get all my toons handily together on a single server.

I'm broke, unemployed and living with my parents, but despite having a number of physical and mental hangups, I'm deemed just enough on the wrong side of the qualifying lines to be ineligible for SSI/Disability. On the upside, this means I don't have any work-scheduling conflicts to cut into WoW time... ...yay, I guess.

Been playing since July 2006, but was exclusively Horde until Cataclysm, when I decided it might be cool to see how the other side lived... and then the fall of Theramore drove me here for good - I'm a bit of a lore nut, and Garrosh's actions were what solidified my dwindling enjoyment of Horde storyline under his command.

I'm pretty casual with WoW, dawdling here and there with stuff like RP or raiding (but not PVP, I don't have the fast-twitch hand-eye coordination to manage that sort of stuff). Despite years of play, I have yet to fully manage getting the hang of stuff like keybinds (partly because of the aforementioned coordination issues), so my DPS isn't really as optimal as it probably ought to be.

Yay! Welcome Iphia, Talfyr and Crittie! Although, Crittie, you've been around for a while I believe.

Still, nice to put faces to names. :D

I know I've been around for a while... but like you said, it's nice to put a face to a name.
