Impressive art chops! And thank you for expanding my infinitesimally small Japanese vocabulary by one word: hikikomori.

Welcome aboard!

Hello, Racketeer here.

Some of you good folks may have seen me in chat already while some may not have. I wanted to stop in and say hi and formally introduce myself to the guild. Big thank you to Forbs for inviting me, I've been really enjoying my time in the guild. If anyone needs help with anything let me know. My rogue is still a bit of a baby but I've been around a long time and have some 90s at your disposal.

See everyone around the forums and in game! :)

Greetings fellow Gnome lovers! My RL name is Paul, I live in Colorado and play as much as I can around my job (service technician with weird hours daily!), a little princess, and looking for a new home! I'm married to a fairy (LemonDrop...you can check her out on Facebook!) I am glad to be here and ready to show Azeroth the glory of Gnomeregan!

Ok, this is a long overdue intro... Hi, I'm Medzen (NOT to be confused with Metzen - the WoW guy). First, to explain the name, I was going to make Medzen a healer - so, I was thinking Drizin (Doctor is in) but then i started thinking about medicine, which led to the meds are in or Medzen. The similarity to Metzen was all coincidental (didn't even know he existed). But I enjoyed Shadow so much i never went back, but I love the name and this character.

As for me, I am James, living in drought stricken Fresno, Ca. but hey, we have the President coming to town on Valentines Day (bet Michelle is real happy about that). Anyways, I first started playing Warcraft & Warcraft II, when I heard about WoW, I didn't want to play.... because i knew i would NEVER get anything done... but eventually I started playing towards the end of BC. I tried a few different characters out, human mage, human paladin but I always like a challenge and people said leveling a priest was difficult, so I did it. Eventually I had a level 90 priest, rogue and paladin. But then Blizz changed the way you logged in, from a login name you choose to your e-mail. Well. not long after that my account was hacked, kept having problems, so I left WoW. I cam back to WoW while i was living in Washington and it gave me something to do while I was working (fueled airplanes - nights were slow). Eventually I moved back to Fresno to finally pick a career path (only took until I was 40 to do so). I left Wow to focus on nursing, but after 2 years, i missed it. So I used a free trial account and scouted the different realms, I came across Tinxi. Well, we chatted for a bit and told me to talk to Forbs. I was a little hesitant at first because I have never played a Gnome or been on a RP realm but after searching around (and doing some research) this was one of the friendliest realms I had been on. I finally interviewed with Forbs and was offered a spot in G4, but I waited a week before accepting to make sure I was committed to the Guild, I didn't want to just join to join.

So, right now, due to my living situation... I try to participate when I can, I offer help when I can but I tend to be AFK alot. After I get my nursing license and my own place, I plan to be more involved with G4 but until then I'll do what i can. Heck, it's only taken me over a year to post here since I was warmly accepted by this great guild.

Ok, more about me IRL. I'm 6'2, 230 lbs blondish hair (what i have left), mostly laid back and about to reach my 45th time around our Sun. Have played video games since I was a kid (who remembers the arcade version of pong before Atari), playing on a Commodore 64, and years of games on the PC. Mostly strategy games but also 1st person shooters. Now, mainly, it is only WoW. Well, there you go, i just finally had to sit down and trudge thru this and finally get it out of the way.

And of course a pic to put a face w/ the toon:

New gnome here!

IRL, my name is Kris and I live in Bermuda.

Bastiloc is my first gnome 'toon on any server, but I have bee a player of WOW since 2009.
Arms Warrior because I cant think of more fun than bashing the kneecaps (or other significant appendages) off of creatures 10 times my size whilst laughing maniacally over my keyboard.

Despite playing off and on for so long, I don't have any elite credentials at all. In fact I only started raiding about 2 months ago!
My last guild blew apart after the GM had personal issues and I have been looking for a new guild to call home. An actual "guild", not just a bunch of people "gratz"-ing each other.

I found G4 after seeing a short video on the Fall of Gnomeregan on WOW Insider.

I think i have found a good guild - i even enjoyed my initiation interrogation! (thanks, Tridyna)

Welcome Basiltoc! And dont worry we're pretty good at weeding out the elitist jerks during the interview process. As always try to remember that guilds are a lot like anything else in life...what you get out of them, depends a great deal on what you put into them.

Looking forward to seeing you around!

Hi All!

I'm new so I figured I'd get some info about me out there, Hopefully you'll be seeing more and more of me!

My name is Kris. I'm 28, I live in Mass with my 6 year old son Lucas. I'm a single father with full custody, it's just me and the little guy....

but we have a great time!

I have a very boring job, I work for a very large battery company, hint their mascot is a pink bunny. I actually work during 'third shift' hours so you shouldn't be seeing me on late. You'll most likely see me on during the afternoons/evenings every day.

The other thing I reckon people would know about me is that I'm a gigantic Doctor Who fantatic, a 'Whovian' if you will. I'm a big anglophile and wish I lived in England. I spend most of my free time playing wow, listening to music and eating very unhealthy food.

I'm the bald one in the black polo

again, I'd be the bald guy in the sunglasses

Sorry for the late introduction!

My name's Andrew, and I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I've been playing WoW since...I want to say 2006? I started a couple months before Blizz released AQ. I've played a few other MMOs since starting WoW, but I always end up coming back. I've played Horde throughout my time playing, but I felt the need for a change, and rather than change servers, since WRA's awesome, I chose to change factions instead! You can find me on either Fragulon or Glenzo, though I may possibly Gnome-ify my Death Knight as well when I have the moneys.

I enjoyed reading this thread and figured I should add an introduction myself.
I'll get this picture out of the way, it isn't a very good one but I have more pictures of ferrets than I do of myself so this is Peanut (when he was a wee baby) and me:

My name is Libby and aside from playing WoW and rescuing ferrets I am a full time care giver to my mother in law and married to a great guy for nearly 18 years. I also help with community outreach for the homeless in my area of Virginia and co-mentor a youth group of 13 teens from ages 13-19 helping them with whatever they need at any given time, I feel very privileged to be a part of their lives. My outreach duties are less in the winter months because we have been able to get more people involved, they tend to be more sympathetic in the colder months, this will change soon though and by the end of March I'll no longer be in game on Thursday mornings and evenings ( working with the homeless thurs) on or on Wednesday evening (youth group).

I love people and I am an upbeat person for the most part and willing to be anyone's cheerleader.

My mother in laws illnesses mean that I frequently need to afk so even though I appear to be in game I might not be.

My absolute favorite things to do in wow would seem boring o some but I like farming, I also like soloing old content. I use to enjoy instancing but my enjoyment in that changed midway through WotLK, though I hope to change that.

Pink things, fluffy things, cheerful things, happy and friendly people.. These are things I love

I absolutely hate, without restraint or exception, rudeness and bullying.

Anywhoooooo I have to run out the door cause lucky me I haz the bronchitis so getting meds I will leave you with a picture of my ferrets:

Hopefully it sized right, if not I'll fix soon as I get back!
