Hey Tiffyn thanks for bumping it up I had debated starting a thread like this but now do not need to.
So out Coggs, Xan, Lite and my dwarf Fogbug, (Sweet name that I jacked from a RL friend in honor to keep his D&D character alive in some way.) Im Scott right now I am majoring in Geography and minoring in French. Since college is rather expensive I still live at home, and when im not in WoW or at class/studying I am often at work.
I started playing WoW in vanilla not so early I had to deal with all the bugs but I vaguely remember the higher levels in my guild excited about the AQ40 stuff opening up. Played on and off on an account my brother and I shared at that time but never really good a moderate to high level character due to a couple of reasons. Then in the fall of '07 while going to a different state school a friend got his roommate and I back into the game. Ended up Leveling a hunter at that time (still have him...I think hes at 72 or so) then came back to my home town after the school year ended. Since that time I have played on and off till recently when I bought the year long pass since I always seemed to take a couple month break then renew my account for a few months. My priest was my first max level toon and he was horde at the time, I was in a rather small guild and last summer we all seemed to be burnt out by WoW and the guild just quietly died out. About last August/September I decided to come back and play; and after about 2 years of a real life friend nagging me to get into RP I decided to try and give it a shot. Deciding this I felt that Ally was the way to go since I knew more about the Alliance lore than the Horde's I raced changed and end up checking out CC which I found didn't exactly have what I was looking for. So I started looking at all the RP forums until I found the G4 requirement forum and I believe it was something Forb said I found amusing so I read up on gnomes and always wanting to try a mage Coggling was born and joined G4 and after find out about everything and having fun I ended up moving my priest and pally over. Have to admit both G4 and WrA are the best guild/server I've either played or been in; So thank you all!
Also Brixee I have to say that is pretty Epic you have met Felicia Day
Edit: Had a doh moment a bit after I posted this but one thing you should all know about me is that I am a rabid Football (or as most of you call it Soccer) fan. I am often supporting either Arsenal FC in the English Premier League or my own "hometown" team the Colorado Rapids.
ME! MY LOVE! First of all a warning! I am not much of a writer, mistakes are going to be rampant in my story here and I am sorry in advanced.
Well where to start. My toon name is Lawn but my main is Rooky, a paladin on Bloodhoof where I raid lead for my guild and we kick a lot of.. butt.. and have tons of fun. We cleared DS 7/8 in the first week then 8/8 the second week, not to gloat but I love my guild. Currently on a break until mists though. So now I am Lawn and I will be playing this character for the seeable future!
That's my wow life but in real life my name is Kendall and I'm 20 years old. I'm living in Tulsa right now enjoying the company of my family while I look for a job and get re-signed up for college up here. Not much interesting with my schooling since I am only taking my basics but I hope to be a school teacher or something along those lines. I enjoy playing with that idea but then there is the money thing and living in this economy scares me -.-. Anyway schooling aside I love bowling, relaxing at home with my fiance, Wow (of course) and sleeping (it's the best).
I don't watch much T.V. but when I do it's on the Food Network, Comedy central. And now I begind a rant. When I was a kid I loved discovery and history channel, but I watch it now and what do I care about truckers, lumberjacks, aliens!? How is this learning at all. Anyway I wish there were better shows like there used to be on those channels. Being a top shot has nothing to do with history! (no matter how cool it may be it's not history :( )
I guess the last stuff to talk about would be my Wow history! I started playing the last half a year of vanilla. I got to 70 before I really understood the game outside raiding. Kara really opened my eyes when i started raiding with my future fiance and her friends. I loved it. That guild fell apart and I realised 25 man raids were not for me and there were too few raid leaders that actually could run puggs through raids and succeed. Got my start doing just that I created a channel for people to hang out and if they wanted to go with us on our raids we ran Kara for months successfuly where a lot of guilds could not. That lasted until ZA Where I led a guild raid through it even though I was the pug. When we got 3/4 prisoners and were only a minute away from the Bear they invited me to the guild and gave me leading responsibilites. That went until Wrath and we rocked and rolled until a little before ToC where I quit until ICC and got back into leading. Cata rolled around and the guild leader had his little group and I had mine and for some reason we could not get along for much longer. We split and now I'm leading an extremely fun and crazy group of people while my fiance runs the guild. While we were on break I played League until I saw Forbs rallying cry for Gnome victory. I have answered that call and here I am, Lawn Hammerspring reporting for duty. /salute
Ok My name is Isaac I'm 19 and a student in college. Actually I was a music student. I found that while theory was cool and I liked playing in an orchestra the idea of doing it for the rest of my life would drive me to the brink of insanity. (Sorta like this completely inferior computer I'm typing on. I miss my computer, one more week.) Anyway... I'll probably concentrate on getting my A.A go and getting into UCF. Know I want to do something water related. I used to really want to be a dive instructor (They teach people how to SCUBA). I did my Junior project on it and thought it was one of the coolest things ever. I decided to "get real" and Concentrate on music which I excelled at in High School. Though after a year in college as a music major I realized that I'd rather earn crap pay for something I really enjoyed than slightly less than crap pay for something that I really didn't.
I'm gay which isn't a big deal, to me, but part of me. Anyway I'm active in my school's GSA and that took up the bulk of my Senior project. (Which is the stupidest crap known to man kind.)
As far my WoW history goes I started playing July of last year.(Actually December of 2010 but due to school I let my subscribtion of die and forgot about that account completely.) Lara'Faye was my first 85. Everything about druids pull me in and Lvling and rping her has been amazing. However my first character on this server was actually a gnome warlock. I never ended up lvling her but I wish I had. There is something about playing a gnome that's just so damn cool. Elves have a sense of mystery and magic to them but gnomes... Well I don't rightly know why I love them so much. Maybe it's the fact that they are the smallest race in Azeroth but take on enemies three time their size, or their curiousity and thirst for knowledge. Maybe it's the fact that, as far as races go, they are one of the least predujice and are all around good. Um... I'll think of more things to add I'm sure.

Hi, my name is Brett. I live in Columbus, Ohio with my wife and two cats. Been together over 27 years. My wife and I, not the cats.
Certified as a medical coder but currently unemployed. I have had a varied life and have done such things as own a restaurant, run for political office (Mayor of Athens, Ohio), and read tarot cards for a 1-800 psychic line.
My interests are varied too. I love history, science, digital art, photography, and world of warcraft. I went to college but ran out of funds my senior year, 1986.
I have a strong background in photography, film, and radio-television production. Currently, I am putting out a gnome based comic strip called "Trigonometry" which can be found here and in the Sunday Funnies of WowInsider.com.
As far as gaming, I started with 1st ed. D&D, and played pen, paper, and dice for over twenty years. My first online MMORPG game was Dofus. When I tried to recruit a friend to that game, he turned me down, and recruited me and my wife to WoW instead.

wondamint is a gnome whos favorite thing in the world is explosions and fire hence why when distaster first struck gnomeregan she was studying to be both the very best fire mage and engineer she could be and even though she would later find out goblins have the best explosives she decided to stay with gnomish engineering in remembrance of her old homeland.
of the other current 11 races she fully trusts the dwarves, thinks tauren as a whole are trustworthy and that trolls would be to if they didnt always seam hungry. she doesnt care one bit realy about the drani, orcs, humans, elves both types, is realy curious how forsaken stay in one piece with out nuts and bolts at the joints, and is scared of worgan cause they are big have sharp teath and well just looks like they might think a gnome is a chew tow. goblins though even though she likes there bombs are her personal arch enemies she thinks they are uglly untrustworthy and way to greedy for her liking. this might help in the future to tell you why she reacts to different toons the way she does lol.
now for me i am 30 yrs old and have never been to college. i was stupid enough to join the navy when i was 26 thank god im out of it now yay.

Well, a lot of people seem to be posting pictures of themselves, so this is me last Halloween.
I'm not going to tell you my name, but I'm a college student going into my junior year. I'm currently majoring in physics, but I will probably change my major to chemistry or biology soon. I'm hoping to become a doctor specializing in genetics-based medicine.
No, I don't have a job... or a car... and I live with my parents... but I do have a 3.98 GPA (soon to be a 4.0 if I re-take my physics lab) to make up for it. I think that's part of why I like Gnomes so much. I identify with them. They are the ultimate nerds of Azeroth.
My main is Xynthia, a Night Elf druid on Velen, but I love roleplaying Fizzy as well. I started in late Wrath and was pulled into Azeroth by the beauty of Teldrassil and similar Night Elven areas. I haven't looked back since! Since I love acting and I also like the Warcraft lore, I decided to create a character on Wyrmrest Accord. I figured a Gnome would be fun to roleplay, due to their love of science and their insatiable curiosity about the world, as well as easy to roleplay because I kinda act like a gnome already (actually, it seems the more I roleplay Fizzy, the more I act like her IRL too). I met Forbidra at the Darnassus Market and joined G4 soon afterwards.
My Main in game right now is Nhojj. I have another character on Khadgar with my old guild but it got kinda lonely there.
Nhojj is the type of Gnome that is always ready to help someone. Doesn't really matter who or what; long as you're not a troll that is. He is a Priest, believes in the light (somebody had to put all this great stuff here) but he is also a firm believer that exploration, invention, curiosity, and persistence are God given qualities that need to be used and expanded; to many of the bigger races seem to have forgotten this. Besides there has to be an alchemical formula to help the situation :). He was at the fall of Gnomeregan, helping the wounded, fighting when necessary, and helping to get the survivors out.
My real name is John, I have been a RN for close to 24 years. Mostly in critical care. I am a father of 5 daughters, 3 still at home (not to much longer I hope :) ). I originally got in to MMOs back with SWG and then to WOW on and off after the NGE. I have been in LOTRO since launch playing on Brandywine. I have played several other games, including EQ2 and URU online (beta tested this one and have stayed with it theough all the tribulations..based on the game Myst). Recently though I got bitten by the RP bug and did a little in LOTRO but with moving back to WOW I was looking for a home. I was lucky enough to find GF and get accepted. I am really looking forward to both in-game and forum RP stuff. Hopefully I'll get a picture of my ulgliness up soon :). Got to find one first.
Look forward to seeing everyone in-game!!
Poor planning on your part, DOES NOT indicate an emergency on my part!
"Old lady" living with my husband and cat, I am a graphic artist and illustrator... was laid off a while back and have been out of full time work for way too long. So I decided to continue my education, get a masters so I can teach if I need to in the future... only to find out none of the credit from art school will transfer to state run schools... :( Which sucks.. so I have to start over.. though in the end I'll have dual degrees which is kinda cool I guess.
Kimmike you said you're going to UCF? Does that mean you're in O-Town? I am near the Cape :)
Gamer me.... always been a gamer! As for MMOs, I started with EQ in '99, where ironically I was part of an all gnome guild called "Gnomercy"... not original now I know.. but it was back then! So I've obviously always been obsessed with gnomes... measuring in at 4'11" in RL helps make me feel a bit kindred to them too ;) Have played gnomes in every game theyve been available.
Started WoW at launch (was it '04?) with a gnome rogue named Jammy on Emerald Dream. Have played off and on since launch... but have never quite found a group of people to keep it worth coming back to on a regular basis. I am hoping (and think I have!) found a guild full of just such people! ;) Several characters (and servers) later, I only have 1 lvl 85... she is (a gnome of course) priest.... recently xferred to this server, will probably be bringing her into the guild soon! :)
Happy to meet you all!

(Don't judge too harshly, we'd both consumed a pretty significant amount of adult beverages)
Mini and I got engaged on May 3rd! We're planning our wedding for next year, and we're both really excited. We've been best friends since we met years ago, and we barely ever do anything in game without each other.
The biggest thing we have in common is that we both absolutely love Gnomes!!
When we're not on WrA playing our Gnomes, you can find us on Cho'gall playing our main Gnomes, and you guessed it, their names are Miniegg and Martouff!
Mini can tell you about herself if she'd like, but as for me, I'm originally from Southeast PA, about an hour west of Philly (GO FLYERS!). I went to college to play baseball, but had to quit because of arm problems during my freshman year :-( Now I wish I'd have chosen a hockey scholarship instead, but that's life I guess.
I'm a huge fan of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, I love the Eagles and the Flyers, and country music.
I started playing WoW in '08 and have been hooked since. I've met a lot of great people in game and on the forums, which is where you'll usually find me when I'm not in game!
Anyway, we're so excited to be in G4. Thanks to everyone who's made us feel welcome!
